Absolutely! If you need a dieline/template to design on, you can reach out via our live chat button in the bottom right corner of our app.

When your design is complete, make sure to convert all colors to CMYK, outline all fonts, include the dieline on a separate layer and embed all high-resolution images (300 dpi or higher).

You can then include your dieline in your quote request. Once we complete your quote request you will receive a link to review and complete your order.

Always upload and use the highest-resolution images you can when designing. The higher the resolution, the crisper your art will appear!

In our box designer, we have a pop up that will warn when your image quality falls below 150 ppi. Images below 150 ppi will print blurry or pixelated, so it is highly recommended to only use images that are above this in our editor or on your dielines.

Every order will receive a final artwork proof which shows the final layout and quality of your order. If your images do not meet our recommended threshold of 200 DPI we will include a low quality image warning on your proof. Updating your artwork after receiving your proof will require an addition charge of $15 per round of editing.

To get the best quality printing, check out our guidelines.

Our 3D Design app makes designing a breeze. But if you still want a professional designer for your packaging, we can provide you a dieline file which you can pass along to your graphic designer. Email [email protected] with the style, size, and material dieline/template you need.

Buyboxes is not able to offer design services at this time.

Our minimum order quantity is 1, so we suggest placing a small order ahead of your larger one. That way, you can rest assured your boxes are exactly how you want them.

Absolutely! To add printing to the inside of your box simply select the inside of the box from the view toggle. Next add your designs to the inside of your box. (Inside printing not available on all styles) *Please see warning for food contact.

While we do our best to manage colors and color expectations, the colors you see on your screen can vary from the printed boxes you receive. This, in part, is because each monitor is calibrated differently, and the color space used on a screen (RGB: Red, Green, Blue) is different than the one used in print (CMYK: Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black). Your proof will simulate the final printed colors as close as possible. If you have a specific color you need please note this in the comments so we can help match it for you.

We certainly do! This can be a great tool when printing on brown (kraft) board. Use it as a stand-alone color, or request to have it printed under the graphics on your kraft box to make the colors vibrant. Without white, colors on kraft board, especially lighter colors like yellow, appear washed out and faded. (Used creatively, even the muted color can look incredible!) If you are interested in white ink please contact us and tell us about your project!

With the numerous variables involved in CMYK printing on corrugated cardboard, there is no way to guarantee color will match from run to run. However we understand how important you brand image is. If you have specific color requirements, please reach out to us before placing your order at [email protected] and we can discuss custom options tailored to your needs.

If you have PMS colors you’d like to match, please reach out to us at [email protected] prior to processing your order. Not all PMS colors are reproducible in process inks. We will let you know if we are not able to match, but will come as close as we can for you. Color Matching Fee: $50 per color.

For small volume digital, metallic is currently not available. However, depending on your quantity, we may have other cost effective offerings for you. Contact us for custom pricing.

The UV inks we use are not suitable to be used in primary food packaging (direct food contact). However, they may be used for secondary food packaging applications but only in case of using an adequate primary food packaging material that serves as migration barrier.

The UV inks used in our production have a smell that will dissipate over time. Most orders this is not noticeable by the time the order is delivered. Boxes with full ink coverage may require a couple days to air out allow the smell to subside.

Types of Boxes

Yes! We have an excellent team of designers and engineers behind us who can make just about anything out of corrugated. There are minimum order quantities and additional fees associated with custom projects, so they may not be the right fit for everyone. If you’d like to know more, simply fill out our quote request form and attach any files for your project. One of our reps will reach out to you to go over any specifics we may need.

Plain and simple, yes we do. If you’re worried about your product not fitting in the box, we can send out an unprinted sample of most standard box styles offered on our site in the size you need. All you pay is a small fee of $5 + shipping & handling. We’d hate for you to receive beautifully printed boxes to find it doesn’t fit your product! Pricing for unprinted samples of custom designed products vary by project and can be provided to you by your project manager.

To determine the box size you need, measure your product and any packing material you’ll be using left to right (L), front to back (W) and bottom to top (D). Add 1/8” – 1/4” to each of these dimensions to give a little wiggle room.

Cardboard or paperboard: that is the question. Cardboard (Corrugated) is sturdier than Paperboard and will hold more weight, while Paperboard (Folding Carton) is great for smaller sizes or lightweight products and allows for extremely clean print. Kraft board can give your packaging an earthy feel and natural look. White on the other hand, allows for better printing with colors that pop.

Please note: we don’t recommend ordering a box to carry anything more than 50 lbs. without first consulting one of our Engineers.
